Fees Related Questions for Tuition Classes:

Are there other fees that need to be paid at the point of registration?

 

A one-time non-refundable registration fee of S$20 will be collected upon enrolment into the Centre. In the event where the student withdraws from the Centre, the registration fee shall re-apply in his/her next enrolment.

When are fees collected?

 

First month course fee will be collected upon enrolment into each course. Subsequent fees for each course will be collected on a monthly basis at the start of each month. The monthly course fee covers 4 lessons per month. Fees will be pro-rated for additional lessons for that month. Payment of all fees is by cash and cheque only. All fees paid are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-negotiable.

How much is the material fee?

 

Material fee will be collected upon enrolment into the Centre. In the event where the student withdraws from the Centre, the material fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Fee structure is shown below:

 

  1. Phonics & Reading - $45 for the entire course

  2. All other classes - $45 per year

What if the student joins in the middle of the month?

 

Fees for students who join after the start of the month will be pro-rated based on the number of remaining lessons in the month of registration.

What if the student decided to stop in the middle of the month?

 

There will be no refund for lessons unattended should the student decide to stop halfway.

Class Schedule Related Questions for Tuition Classes:

When is the centre closed?

 

The Centre is closed on public holidays. There will be no lesson and no make-up arrangement. Fees for that lesson will not be collected for that month.

What should I do if I missed a lesson?

 

Students are encouraged to attend classes consistently. Should the student miss a scheduled lesson, he/she may request for a 30 minute make-up lesson before or after next week's lesson (subject to tutor's availability). There will be no refund or pro-rating of course fees for missed lessons, regardless of reasons for absence, not owing to the Centre’s fault.

Will the class schedule change?

 

In the event that the Centre postpones a class due to unforeseen circumstances, the Centre will do its utmost to inform the students of the change in advance and will schedule a make-up lesson. The Centre reserves the right to alter the course timings and the teaching staff in the midst of course curriculum as when required.

I'm interested in signing up for tuition, but the schedule doesn't fit. What can I do?

 

Look for 2 friends to sign up with you, and we’ll be glad to open a new class just for you and your friends!

If I still have some doubts after class, what can I do?

 

Don’t worry, our tutors are obliged and willing to answer your doubts after class (Subject to tutor’s schedule and availability).

Does the Centre follow MOE syllabus closely?

 

We, the owners of the centre, personally run a check with MOE before the year ends, to ensure that our syllabus for the next year is current and up-to-date.

How many students are there in a class?

 

We keep our classes small to cater to each student's needs.
 

Phonics & Reading classes: up to 6 students only
Primary and Secondary classes: up to 6 students only

Junior College classes: up to 4 students only
