Secondary Curriculum

 

1) English Language

This basic English programme focuses on grammar, sentence structure, comprehension and summary writing. Students are coached on their reading and critical thinking skills, as well as their writing skills.

 

Class size: up to 6 students only

Class Frequency: Once per week

Length per class: 2 hours

2) Mathematics / POA

This programme focuses on holistic teaching methodology and using the language effectively. Students are guided to improve from strength to strength. Lessons are designed to infuse not only culture but also creativity.

3) English Essay Writing

This programme explores the essay writing process from the pre-writing stage to the revision stage. Students will learn the parts of the paragraph (topic, supporting, and concluding sentences) and the types of paragraphs (narrative, descriptive, expository and persuasive). Students will be practicing and mastering each step of the writing process before moving on to the next step.
